Private Workshops

We offer workshops for birthdays, team building and everything in between! You may simply want to have a special afternoon with a group of friends or family and enjoy doing something different.

These workshops are suitable for all skill levels and are held in our event space at the rear of the store. Our space and the surrounding urban laneways are very Instagram worthy! Our workshops are generous and you make beautiful things with quality flowers under experienced tuition. We have over 25 years of experience in teaching and running workshops, we know how to get the best out of people, how to make them feel comfortable, to bond as a group, to be proud of their flowers and most importantly to give them a lovely experience.

The workshops are exquisite, using premium floral product and facilitated with style and confidence. Our space is compact but stunning. We host groups of up to 12 people. For larger groups we can work with you to secure a larger event space.

FLOWER WORKSHOPS

Relax and enjoy your refreshments whilst watching a floral demonstration. We will chat to you about general flower care as well as take you through the entire process of the flowers you will be making. You will then get hands on and create your own. There is also plenty of time for questions and flower stories. You will receive guidance along the way in a very relaxed and calm setting. We want to encourage creativity!  Take your flowers home after the class. Includes all flowers and vessels, fixings, ribbons, wreaths etc.

We will guide you before hand on your colour palette and style choices to customise your workshop. We work seasonally and sustainably with no floral foam or plastics and will choose the best florals for the occasion with our signature generosity and artistic flair. Everything is presented beautifully.

Choose from – flower bouquets, flower crowns, petite heart wreath, compact vase arrangements, tall vase arrangements, table centrepieces, table centrepieces with table styling demonstration and fresh wreaths on willow base (will dry naturally)

If you have an idea of something else you would like to create we are more than happy to chat about it. Classes typically run for 2 hours.

Workshop food – people tend to enjoy a tea/coffee/cake style afternoon tea or grazing food and bubbles…..sometimes both, depending on the time of day and occasion. Either works well and you don’t need too much as you will be busy making flowers. You are welcome to BYO food and drinks and we will happily present them beautifully in our kitchen, serve your guests and clean up – leaving you to enjoy everyone’s company. We can also provide herbal teas, coffee, glasses, mugs, ice buckets, serving platters, cake stands, cutlery and plates. If you would prefer to get catering we can help with that too. Let’s create a memorable experience together!

Before or after the class – we can also recommend places to extend your experience on Angove Street from coffee shops, bars, pubs and restaurants to a gallery or shopping experience. Please let us know if you would like more information and recommendations.

Our total minimum spend is $2,500 to run a workshop for your group. (for example 10 people at $250 each) Some surcharges may apply for certain days/dates.
